Clerk (Mr J Paul).  One member of the public.

1 Apology for absence. Mr C Bond Mrs D Pound and Mrs T Tull

2. Minutes of the planning meeting held 3 June 2009.  Mrs Smart proposed, Mr Field
seconded and all agreed that the minutes should be signed as a true record.

3. Matters arising from the above minutes.

4. Declarations by Councillors of personal interests.  None

5. New Applications.
5.1 SI/09/02177/DOM
Brimfast House, Brimfast Lane. Two storey chalet link extension and two storey rear extension.  Re-submission of SI/08/04037/DOM
PC decision no objection.

5.2 SI/09/02423/PLD. Boxham Lane Cottage 1 Boxham Lane. Erection of summer house in garden.
PC decision object because:-

• The proposed building is far greater in size than can be considered a ‘garden summer house’ for a small cottage in a small garden. It is a major construction.
• In no way does it comply with the accepted description of a summer house; namely, “A small building in a garden, used for relaxing in during fine weather.” (Oxford English Dictionary)
• The proposed building has a footprint equal to 50% of the area of the cottage and is in reality a new build extension separate from the dwelling.
• The application does not give any plan drawings of the interior of the proposed building.

5.3 SI/09/02254/COU. 14 Chalk Lane. Siting of mobile home for agricultural worker for temporary  period of three years.
PC decision no objection.

5.4 SI/09/01993/DOM. 64 Street End Lane. Alterations and extension to form new living / dining  room and first floor master bedroom suite and replacement conservatory.
PC decision no objection
