Planning Committee Meeting. Minutes 18 November 2009.

Church Hall 7:00pm

Present: Mr Field (Chairman), Mrs T Tull, Mrs C Ranjbar, Mrs E Smart, Mrs D Pound, Mrs D Kennedy, Mr Adrian Harland, Mr C Bond and Mr A Malir
Clerk (Mr J Paul). CCllr M Whitehead.
22 members of the public. 
 
1 Apologies for absence. All councillors present

2. Minutes of the planning meeting held 28 October 2009. Mr Harland proposed, Mrs Smart seconded and all agreed that the minutes should be signed as a true record.

3. Matters arising from the above minutes.
 (9) The burned out Tyre Clinic site. The Enforcement Department CDC and the Environment Agency are starting Actions as the piles of tyres and the building are considered a hazard. In addition it is  understood the owner is considering applying to develop the site. This will not delay the actions.

4. Declarations by Councillors of personal interests. None

5. New Applications for discussion.
5.1 SI/09/03553/FUL
  Keycroft Barn, Highleigh Road.
 Change of use of a redundant agricultural barn to a single residential dwelling.
  Parish Council conclusion No Objection.

6. CDC Decisions since last PC planning meeting.
6.1 SI/09/02443/DOM
 2 Cymens Ora, Keynor Lane. Single storey rear extension.  Wet floor shower room with wheelchair.  Access ramp for disabled person. PERMIT
 
6.2 SI/09/03556/DOM
 Keynor Cottage, Keynor Lane. Rear ground floor extension to form guest bedroom. PERMIT

6.3 SI/09/03416/DOM
  Hope Cottage, Highleigh Road. Two dormer windows on north elevation. PERMIT

7 School House development consultation. This item duplicated the bi-monthly agenda therefore carried forward to that meeting.

8 Planning Correspondence None

9 AOB.
9.1 Metal fencing at Redgate Barn. Item raise what screening and distance from the verge was planned. Item carried forward, Clerk to make enquiries before next planning meeting.
9.2 The footpath across Slep Field was not restored some weeks after cultivation. The farmer to be approached by Mr Field.
