MANHOOD WILDLIFE & HERITAGE GROUP NEEDS VOLUNTEERS

MANHOOD WILDLIFE & HERITAGE GROUP NEEDS VOLUNTEERS

The group is volunteer led, and entirely dependent upon its local members and supporters.

The MW&HG is currently delivering an innovative and exiting Heritage Lottery Funded community project called ‘Fixing and Linking Our Wetlands’ (FLOW). The project will see us map, survey and restore or manage the peninsula’s watercourses for the benefit of wildlife and people. We are actively seeking new volunteers and members from the local communities across the Manhood Peninsula to ensure that the project is a resounding success.

It is a friendly and proactive group and currently has around 100 volunteers. We organise regular work parties across the peninsula, so there are many opportunities for people to get involved in their local patch.
